We are now authorised dealers of Aster live steam and electric models. Although we do not keep many in stock, we can obtain them within 2 to 3 days subject to if the UK agent has stocks - or approx. 28 days if they have to be imported. We always have models on display, however, and are always happy to buy or part exchange them for other goods. The prices quoted may be subject to change due to currency fluctuations. Please not some models may be in short supply. All models are available in kit form or ready to run (RTR).

A FEW WORDS ABOUT ASTER

The Aster Hobby Co. Inc., of Yokohama, Japan has been manufacturing Gauge One Live Steam models since 1975 and is indisputably recognised as the premier exponents of this fascinating branch of the model hobby. Their first model was the famous Southern Railway 'Schools' class locomotive which remains popular with enthusiasts to this day. Since then prototypes have been produced in Gauge One live steam from the USA, mainland Europe and Japan as well as several examples from the UK. The A4 Pacific 'Mallard' and Great Western 'King George V' have proved particularly popular with enthusiasts and collectors.

All Aster models are manufactured to the highest quality standards and in strictly Limited Editions. Once sold out they are never repeated. The values of an Aster model will increase over time. For example a 'Schools' class loco bought in 1975 will be worth 5 times more today in mint condition and probably 4 times more in clean used condition. Therefore your Aster model will not only give you much pleasure to own and enjoy but based on the evidence of recent history, will be an appreciating asset too.
